Andover Wellness Group is a community based organization that focuses on health and wellness by deploying the concept of preventive healthcare as its mantra. We believe passionately that our team of highly skilled nurses and doctors can make a significant impact on the general health and well being of our community by conducting clinics designed to educate the masses about the risks that they may face and the ways in which those risks can be minimized. Preventive healthcare is the primary tool that we use to ensure that you and your loved ones live a longer and more fulfilling life.
Andover Wellness Group offers a range of turnkey services that can be implemented in a variety of different ways. We can support your organizations pre-existing health and wellness program with our highly skilled professionals acting in a support role. We also have a team in place that is well versed at designing a program from the ground up that will not only keep your workforce healthy and more efficient but it will play a significant role in reducing your organizations healthcare costs by reducing premiums and number of health related claims.
Ira Margolis is the President and Founder of Andover Wellness Group, LLC, a community-based company that provides preventative healthcare and wellness clinics to area businesses such as flu vaccinations, blood pressure and glucose screening based in Troy, Michigan.
Founded in 2010, Margolis established Andover Wellness Group because he saw an opportunity to provide value-added service and support to businesses with or without health and wellness programs.
His impetus and passion for beginning this business came from his parents. His father was a family physician for over 40 years and his mother has led a life of volunteerism, and had him involved at a young age. They both instilled a great sense of community into his life.
Prior to starting Andover Wellness Group, Margolis was President of Andover Title & Escrow Agency, a full service title insurance agency, in Southfield, Michigan from 2002 to 2010. Previous to that position, he was the Vice President of Midwest Home Mortgage and the CEO for financial consulting firm, Oakland Funding Group.
Margolis is involved with several trade and professional organizations including the Oakland County Sheriffs Advisory Council, American Land Title Association and the National Association of Mortgage Bankers. In addition, he is a lifetime member of Jewish Home and Aging Services.
In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Wayne State University. Margolis is also a Licensed Title Examiner.
Margolis is a native Detroiter and has three children. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and fishing.
